Pros and cons of staying in Tsugaike Pros: • Beginners slopes and lessons easily accessible at bottom of mountain. • Ski in -Ski out accommodation dirt cheap compared to Happo • Cortina ski resort not far away. Cons • Rather isolated, no modern bars or restaurants. • Little difficult to get to Happo, Iwatake or 47- you are mostly reliant on the Hakuba Valley Shuttle bus. • No supermarkets or convenience shops nearby. Where to stay in Tsugaike? There is not much benefit in staying in Tsugaike unless you have ski in-ski out acommodation.
